Madras Radiators & Pressings is operating multiple facilities around Coimbatore, decided to add solar generation to cut daytime energy draw from the grid. They set up the system with a SolarEdge inverter paired with high-power Goldi 545 Wp panels, aligning the arrays on factory rooftops to get maximum sun. A real-time monitoring dashboard was brought in so the operations team can track output, spot under-performance, and ensure maintenance is proactive.

Monthly Electricity Cost Reduction: The solar system contributes a part of daytime power needs, helping Madras Radiators cut electricity bills by around 12-15%.

CO₂ Emission Savings: Annually the system is estimated to prevent about 110-130 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, based on typical solar generation in Coimbatore and grid emission factors.

Monitoring: The facility uses live performance monitoring to keep the system efficient, quickly identifying if any panel/string underperforms (due to dust, shade, or technical issue).
